How to recreate your favourite Disney Park snacks and treats at home

From Dole Whip to Turkey legs, there is nothing more iconic than some of the most loved Disney Theme Park treats. They even have their own souvenir lines in the shops on site, including their own clothing range!

With close to 500 places to dine across the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando alone, there is no wonder that the Disney Parks food offering is something that is missed upon return from the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Fun Fact: More than 1.2 million pounds of turkey legs are consumed every year in the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks in Orlando!

To help satisfy those cravings, and bring a taste of the parks home, here are some of the best Disney recipes available. So grab your apron, and see if you can give Chef Mickey (or Remy, Guy Fieri, the Swedish Chef… you get the picture) a run for his money!

1. Dole Whip

Dole Whip, the much loved soft serve treat that was introduced to the Disney Theme parks in the 1980’s, had always been a recipe that Disney kept well under wraps.? Now, for the first time, Disney has revealed how you can make your own homemade Dole Whip to enjoy outside of the Disney Theme Parks, and it is easy to make with only 3 ingredients!

Find out how to make Dole Whip via the Insider website here.

2. Epcot’s Cheddar Cheese Soup

This dish is a staple feature of the Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canadian Pavilion, over in Epcot at Walt Disney World in Orlando.? This classic Canadian dish is perfect for dunking a pretzel in for a cozy lunch time treat, or as an appetiser to add a little Disney Magic to your evening meal.

Previously only available via Disney Cookbooks, find out how to make it from the Disney Park blog here.

3. Disney Parks Churro Bites

Who doesn’t love a Churro, and the ones that come with an approval from the main mouse himself just seem to taste all the sweeter!

Churros are a Disney Park classic well worth saving your snack credits for, and are available at multiple locations at Parks all across the globe.

The Disney Parks blog helps re-create these park classics at home, with a simple recipe you can enjoy while streaming a virtual parade online, direct from Disney!

4. Mickey Mouse Shaped Beignets

If the New Orleans setting of the recent Disney hit The Princess and the Frog is more up your street, then the iconic Beignets are probably the Disney snack treat for you. Is it possible to make them even more enjoyable? Sure - just shape them into Mickey Mouse himself! Don’t worry if you are missing a Mickey Mouse cutter though… They are just as tasty cut into squares.
